Meghan Markle and Prince Harry officially stepped back as senior members of the royal family last month but it appears at least one of their staffers is still very in touch with the royal family. Prince William and Kate Middleton managed to snag Meghan and Harry's former digital communications lead on the heels of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's departure.

If anything, the royals like to keep their inner circle small, working with tried-and-true loyal staffers. So, yes, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s new social media expert just so happens to be a former employee of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The pair wasted no time in scooping him up following Meghan and Harry’s royal exit.

The Kensington Palace took their social media account to give a glimpse of George's gesture. The 6-year-old drew a floral arrangement in a yellow vase with a heart. "A card from Prince George to his mother this Mother’s Day," the Kensington Palace wrote on Instagram while sharing the photo.
