Kate Garraway has reportedly suffered another misfortune following her husband Derek Draper’s long-term effects after catching Covid-19 as his business — which she took over as director of amid his health issues — has folded.The 54 year old mentioned having fears of “money running out” paying for Derek’s aftercare treatment and now a source alleges she is facing more difficulty as Derek's psychotherapy company Astra Aspera Limited has struggled to “keep going". After falling seriously ill with Covid-19 in 2020, Derek has been looked after by carers and wife Kate — leaving little time for the Good Morning Britain presenter to be able to focus on the couple's business.

"Astra Aspera was primarily Derek's company, he was the director. Kate was made director last February so that she could attempt to keep it going,” a source told The Mail on Sunday.
"Kate has done her very best to do that while Derek has been incredibly ill. However, he has been unable to work, his revenue has stopped entirely and is unlikely to return in the near future.
"Kate has other jobs on GMB and Smooth Radio, but with her massively increased costs it wasn't possible to keep the company going, so has to be folded."
