The Emmy-nominated actress says that the producers of a 2011 London production asked her to audition to play Paulette instead of giving her a straight offer.
“I said to my agent, what do you mean, audition? It’s not a straight offer? My agent said, ‘I think they just want to see if you can sing and dance.’ Look, if I got up onstage and farted, and that’s all I did, it would still be the lady from the movie! I’m still angry about this, that’s why I brought it up!” Jennifer told Variety.
