ITZY, STAYC, ENHYPEN and more.Earlier today (June 17), KCON LA unveiled the first line-up for its highly anticipated in-person return this year. The first set of acts announced to be making appearances at and performing at the three-day convention are ITZY, STAYC, ENHYPEN, CRAVITY, NMIXX, THE BOYZ and WJSN.Fans looking to purchase concert tickets to KCON LA may do so from June 23, 2pm PDT, via a presale, before ticket sales are open to the general public from June 27, 2pm PDT onwards.
Meanwhile, convention tickets are currently available for purchase via KCON LA’s website.The remaining roster of artists set to perform at KCON LA are to be announced in the second wave of line-up announcements, scheduled to be made on June 21. Meanwhile, a “daily lineup release” is scheduled for June 22, local time.This year’s iteration of KCON LA will be a celebration of the convention’s tenth anniversary, and will be taking place from August 19 to 21 at the Crypto.com Arena and the LA Convention Center located in downtown Los Angeles.
It will also be the event’s first in-person iteration in over two years since the onslaught of the COVID-19 pandemic.KCON LA was preceded by three separate ‘KCON 2022 Premiere’ events held in Chicago, Tokyo and Seoul in May. KCON was first held in 2012 in the Californian city of Irvine, before going on to visit nine more cities and regions across North America, Europe and Asia.

ENHYPEN are reportedly preparing to hold their first-ever world tour later this year.Today (June 28), South Korean news outlet Sports World reported that the seven-member boyband are currently planning to hold their first-ever world tour later this year, which will include shows in the United States and Japan.Citing an anonymous music industry official, the news outlet reported that ENHYPEN will kick-off their first-ever world tour in mid-September starting with a domestic concert in Seoul. The boyband will then head to cities in the United States, Japan and more.As of writing, ENHYPEN and their representatives have yet to confirm or deny the news.

The Damned have been forced to cancel their Glastonbury 2022 set this weekend after a number of positive COVID-19 tests were recorded in the band’s camp.The band had been due to headline the festival’s Avalon Stage on Friday (June 24) following sets from Sugababes and Nick Mulvey.The Damned previously told their fans on Saturday (June 18) that a member of the band had tested positive, forcing the cancellation of their planned gigs on Saturday and yesterday (June 20).The latest update from the band has been issued this afternoon (June 21). “Further to our previous updates, there have been more positive COVID tests in the Damned camp and consequently we’re having to withdraw from all remaining June appearances, including Bath, Glastonbury and the Die Artze show in Germany,” they wrote on Twitter.Apologies to all the fans who were looking forward to seeing The Damned, we were looking forward to seeing you all too !
