After six long years away from our screens, it’s official - iconic BBC sitcom Gavin and Stacey is back for one night only, as the cast reunite this Christmas for the final ever episode. Announcing the news on social media, creators James Corden and Ruth Jones blindsided fans on Friday, when they shared s snap of the final script alongside the caption.
“Some news… It’s official!!! We have finished writing the last ever episode of Gavin and Stacey. See you on Christmas Day, BBC One.

The series, which is set between Billericay, Essex and Barry, South Wales follows the lives of couple Gavin and Stacey, (played by Mathew Horne and Joanna Page ) and their eccentric families as they navigate the journey from dating to marriage, finding jobs and even embarking on parenthood!
