Israeli Documentary Festival Docaviv Postponed Due To Coronavirus

The world hardly needs more nuclear brinkmanship between Israel and Iran, but that's the just the promise from Tehran, a nail-biting Israeli espionage thriller from Netflix's Fauda writer Moshe Zonder. Fortunately it's a TV drama without real world consequences as it portrays a crack Mossad agent hunted in her home town of Tehran as she finds refuge and romance among dancing and drug-taking secular Iranians.

ViacomCBS Networks International, a unit of the Hollywood studio, on Monday said it has acquired 100 percent control of Ananey Communications Group, an Israeli pay TV channel provider and content producer. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but ViacomCBS acquired a controlling stake in Ananey after, in December 2017, first picking up a minority stake.

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival may be postponed to fall due to the coronavirus pandemic, but fans of the festival can still get their fix at home via #Couch-ella this month!

The 2020 edition of the Cannes Film Festival has been postponed by the organizers owing to the Coronavirus crisis which has gripped almost every country in the world. Speculations were already rife about the prestigious film festival getting canceled in the wake of COVID 19 scare due to the fear of infection and now the reports have turned out to be true. The mega event was originally scheduled to be held from May 12 to May 23, 2020, in France.

We all knew this was coming. As the world shuts down because of Coronavirus and large gatherings are banned, in order to slow the pandemic, the Cannes Film Festival was an inevitable casualty. It was a matter of when it would be postponed, not if. Well, that news has finally come down, pushing the fest from its initial plan to be held in the middle of May. It was just a matter of time until this happened, though it’s obviously still a bummer.

The 2020 Bonnaroo Music Festival has been postponed due to coronavirus concerns.
