Detectives are searching for answers after an 18-year-old was found injured and unconscious on the pavement of a quiet rural road.
Police were called to Pimbo Lane, in Skelmersdale near Wigan, at 6.30am yesterday morning (July 19) to find the woman lying on the ground with serious head injuries.
She was rushed to hospital and is now in a stable condition.
