While another added: "5 mins into Holby city and I am crying my eyes out.. Elliot Hope we’ve missed you #HolbyCity." Elliot returned at the start of the emotional episode at the request of Fletch (Alex Walkinshaw) who confessed he's "desperate" to save Jac Naylor's (Rosie Marcel) life.
Having recently found out her once-benign brain tumour is now inoperable and life-threatening, Jac is dealing with it the only way she knows how – cooly. Fletch on the other hand is determined to find a surgeon to perform the high-risk cardiothoracic procedure needed to remove Jac's brain tumour. Hoping Elliot will do just that, he was called to take a look at Jac's scans.
