Harry and Meghan 'to join Queen' at St Paul’s Cathedral for Platinum Jubilee service

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will join the Queen for a Platinum Jubilee service at St Paul's Cathedral, according to reports. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will reportedly attend the event, set to take place on Friday 3 June, alongside other members of the Royal Family. This is an important appearance for Harry and Meghan, as it will be the couple's first outing together with the entire Royal Family since they stepped back from their own royal duties in 2020. But while they will appear at the event, The Telegraph reports that their children, Archie, 3, and Lilibet, almost one, are unlikely to attend.

Harry and Meghan will join up with the Queen's cousins, children, and grandchildren to take part in the country-wide celebrations, and are believed to be flying into the UK next week. The Royal Family will even be joined by Prince Andrew, The Sun reports, in what's likely to be his only public appearance during the Jubilee celebrations. The disgraced prince prompted controversy earlier this year with his prominent role at Prince Philip's memorial service in March - his first public appearance after settling the sexual assault case filed against him by Virginia Giuffre.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed they would make the journey to the UK from their LA home earlier this month. A representative for the couple said at the time: "Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are excited and honoured to attend The Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations this June with their children."
