Gemma Atkinson gushes over Strictly star fiancé Gorka Marquez in birthday tribute as she's forced to miss out

Gorka Marquez's birthday celebrations are tinged with a bit of sadness for his wife-to-be Gemma Atkinson. The Strictly Come Dancing professional is marking turning 32 on Sunday (September 4) and it couldn't have landed at a better time as he's currently enjoying time at home after being away for work.
Gorka has been away filming for the BBC One dance contest ahead of the show's big return later this month. But the Spanish dancer made his way back to Greater Manchester, his honourary home, where he lives with Gemma, 37, and their three-year-old daughter, Mia.
"The 4:00 am alarm was worth it the surprise face in Mia this morning," Gorka penned on Instagram earlier this week alongside a cute photo of him cuddling up to his daughter before sharing a selfie of the family-of-three back together. And fans thought it was the sweetest.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Gemma posted a series of snaps of her beau, who she met when she took part in Strictly 2017, before gushing over him with a sweet birthday message. One phot showed Gorka posing in just a pair of denim blue jeans, showing off his ripped torso and huge back and arm tattoos.
