Iggy Azalea has spoken out after writing Tory Lanez a letter of support ahead of his sentencing over the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.Last December, Lanez (real name Daystar Peterson) was found guilty of shooting Stallion (real name Megan Jovon Ruth Pete) in both feet during an altercation in July 2020. Peterson, 31, has been in jail since December 23, 2022.The sentencing of the rapper will continue today (August 8). During a court hearing in Los Angeles, California yesterday (August 7), Judge Herriford briefly summarised the numerous letters of support he had received for Lanez.One of the letters was written by Azalea, according to court reporter Meghann Cuniff (via The Independent).Herriford told the court that Azalea’s letter asked him to hand Peterson a sentence “that is transformational, not life-destroying”.

A schoolboy who choked on a cocktail sausage will have his life-support machine switched off today as his friends prepare to say goodbye.
Decklan Hayward went into cardiac arrest after the snack became lodged in his throat, as he enjoyed break time at school with pals.
Frantic staff and then paramedics came to the aid of the seven-year-old, from Orange, New South Wales, Australia, but he had no oxygen to his brain for 20 minutes and then suffered brain damage as a result, after his heart stopped.
Decklan was airlifted to a hospital in Sydney and put on life support, reports the Mirror. On Friday, his parents said they had made the heartbreaking decision to "let our boy grow his wings and go with the angels", with the machine to be turned off, after loved say their goodbyes.
A GoFundMe page has been set up by his aunt, Kaylah Hayward, to "give Decklan the send-off he deserves" and help with the financial burden of the funeral.
She said: "Anyone that ever met Decky knows he was the most bubbly happy funny kid and he will always have a special place in so many of our hearts."
Glenroi Heights Public School principal Tegan Davis contacted parents on the day Decklan choked, saying: "Staff immediately provided aid upon noticing he was distressed and moved other students away from the immediate area. Classes stayed in their rooms to assist emergency services until approximately 1.15pm."
Counsellors are being provided for and students in need of support, on behalf of the education authorities.
The teacher said on Friday: "Decklan's parents would like you to know that Decklan is still with us and continues on life support The family is considering turning off the life support sometime next week. Our thoughts are with Decklan's family at
