he discussed his experience with the “Sex and the City” reboot — and how it pushed him to get sober.Though he may make it look easy to walk down the street in bright graphic prints and electric blue pants, he explained to host Rachel Bilson (“The O.C.”) that he was really struggling behind the scenes.“I was in Hawaii and I was blackout drunk and my agent called and said, ‘They need you in New York,'” Lee, 51, recalled on the July 24 podcast episode. “This is one of the reasons why I’m sober … On the plane, I thought, ‘I’m just gonna get s–t faced,’ so I was in a blackout when we landed in New York.”Lee explained that he only learned he was expected to film that day when he realized that his driver wasn’t taking him to his hotel.“I remember going [to film “AJLT”] and being so high and drunk,” Lee said.
