A former Greater Manchester Police officer has been charged with several offences.
Stephanie Heaps, who previously served on the force's Bolton district, has been charged with two counts of misconduct in a public office. She is also charged with conspiracy to commit burglary, money laundering and intentionally encouraging/assisting the commission of an either way offence.
Misconduct proceedings in relation to the 30-year-old, of Cheshire, will commence after the criminal proceedings, a GMP spokesperson said. Six other people have also been charged.

Leon (aka Layten) Ramsden, 33, of HMP Parc is charged with conspiracy to commit burglary. He is also charged with money laundering, three counts of without authority possessing inside a prison a mobile device and being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of Class B.
Joanne Campbell, 46, of Bolton, is charged with money laundering and intentionally encouraging/assisting the commission of an either way offence.
Lee Ramsden, 50, of Bolton, and Clifford McCarthy, 33, of Bolton, have both been charged with money laundering. Thomas Barrass, 26, of Bolton, and Philip Markland, 38, of Bolton, have both been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary.
All defendants - apart from Ramsden who is in police custody - will appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, June 22. They have been bailed.
