A father and son have been jailed for 'horrific' sex assaults on two girls.
Terrence Brown, 60, and his son Lee Brown, 21, both from Warrington, have been brought to justice over a three-year campaign of abuse that started in 2017.
The pair had abused the girls separately and were not aware of each other’s crimes, according to police.
The younger Brown, who admitted his crimes, of Freshwater Close in Great Sankey, was jailed for four years and four months at Liverpool Crown Court in May.

He had pleaded guilty to eight counts of sexual assault against two girls. This included multiple counts of oral rape and asking them to touch him inappropriately, according to Cheshire Police.
Today (Friday) his father Terrence, of the same address, was jailed for six years and six months following a trial at the same court. He was found guilty of 11 sexual offences including inappropriately touching two girls and showing one of them cartoon pornography, said the force.
Police started their investigation in September 2021 following reports Terrence Brown had sexually abused two girls in Warrington between 2017 and 2021.
During the course of the investigation, the victims disclosed Terrence’s son Lee had also sexually assaulted them between 2017 and 2018.
The pair had abused the girls separately and were not aware of each other’s crimes, said Cheshire Police.
In interview, Terrence Brown denied all allegations of sexual touching. His son Lee admitted abusing the girls and claimed he did so because he was 'curious', according to the force.
