Trying to rebound from my own family tragedy months earlier, that film was cathartic for me because it was the first time I grieved the death of my father in Hurricane Sandy. I shared that with them, and spent a lot of time with both, and especially Jordan. He was just stepping into stardom and we talked about everything from navigating such a famous name to how much he was obliged to give of himself in interviews and in public. This was at a surreal moment when he was still a little uneasy walking down the Croisette and hearing a person or two calling out “Where’s Wallace,” the meme line about his young character from the series The Wire. I recall walking away from Coogler and Jordan hoping they continued to make strong followup creative choices because all the potential was there. Who knew it might happen so quickly for each of them?

Matt Donnelly Senior Film Writer Claire Silver, an artist who collaborates with artificial intelligence, has signed for representation with WME.  The prolific Silver is known as an early adopter in the crypto and NFT space. Her current medium is post-photography, or the manipulation of data to enhance digital images. In addition to signing with the Hollywood power agency, her work will be presented at legendary Paris museum The Louvre courtesy of Superchief Gallery NFT. Premiering March 21, Superchief is one of the first galleries in the world to exhibit AI artwork.  Like many of her digital cohorts, Silver’s identity remains anonymous. Her work has sold at Sotheby’s London, on SuperRare, and has been exhibited in galleries, museums, and festivals all over the world. She is a noted advocate for exploring the use of AI in creative works, something show business has been sweating about in recent months. Fears abound that machines will eventually replace screenwriters, VFX houses and more.

Videos posted to Twitter by Variety’s co-editor-in-chief, Ramin Setoodeh, showed the “madness,” writing, “Even Bill Murray has to wait.”Another clip showed Foy and Mara waiting in line for entry.“Total chaos at the #SAGAwards as Claire Foy and Rooney Mara are not being allowed inside the ballroom of the Fairmont Hotel — they’re told they need to wait for the Fire Marshal to let them (and hundreds of other guests) inside,” Setoodeh tweeted.The Fire Marshal is not letting movie stars inside the #SAGAwards.

Wouldn’t it be great to be part of a story where our protagonist wins and redefines the world’s truth?” “If Dr. Rubin has found Atlantis, not only does he continually save lives in the ER room, but he will have risen the dead of those lost in Plato’s fable and will redefine our history. That is a story I want to be a part of,” he added.
