EastEnders legend is working in a corner shop in the Midlands

EastEnders actor Nitin Ganatra has revealed that he has a new career working with his brother in his family's corner shop in Coventry. The TV star had played Masood Ahmed on the hit BBC soap until leaving three years ago. But he said he is now enjoying helping out in the shop between his acting roles.
Since playing the loveable postman in EastEnders the actor has gone on to star as spell science teacher Mr. Daisy in the CBBC series The Worst Witch. Swapping the East End for Coventry, Nitin explained that he's been getting used to the paper round on weekends.

I was up at 4. 30am doing the papers and trying not to mess up the paper round. It's still got penny chews and the jars of sweets, all those lovely little things.
"He also spoke about how the shop and his brother were attacked by racists thugs last year. "The windows were smashed and my brother was attacked last year. But I'm talking specifically about the 70s and 80s,"Often, you'd get people throwing bricks at the windows and the house, they would come in and smash the shop up.
