The 'kingpin' of a £1million amphetamine lab and a paedophile who "traded" horrific child abuse videos on Snapchat have been jailed in the region of Liverpool in the last week. A teen who called police officers "little sausages" was also locked up.
19-year-old Jared Skeete took ketamine and launched fireworks at police officers branding them 'little sausages' during a protest at the Suites Hotel in Kirkby, Liverpool earlier this year.
Merseyside Police have dealt with a number of cases as Liverpool Crown Court also heard a vile rapist sexually abused a woman as she slept. Callen Chandler-Jones was jailed for 20 years on two counts of rape as well as being handed an additional eight-year licence period, reports the Echo.

James Billingsley-Taylor
James Billingsley-Taylor,32, admitted two counts of distributing indecent images of children, three of making indecent images and one of possessing indecent images. He was jailed for two years after "trading" videos of horrific child abuse on social media app Snapchat.
The married foster carer claimed he was not aroused sexually by child abuse and that he was conducting "research" despite asking other paedophiles "can you see their face" when discussing the horrific videos.
Terence Earle
The 'kingpin' of a £1million amphetamine lab operation was jailed for 16-and-a-half years after admitting conspiracy to supply cocaine and conspiracy to produce amphetamine. Terence Earle, trafficked 'lorry loads of heroin and cocaine' from the Merseyside area to Scotland, a court heard.
The chemicals used were reportedly stashed in a holiday home park near Blackpool.
