After seven weeks at the top of the Official Singles Chart, We Don’t Talk About Bruno’s reign at Number 1 could well be over this week thanks to Dave, who is heading for his second chart-topper with Starlight.
The track - a surprise release to celebrate Dave’s UK tour – is currently leading the race to become the UK’s Number 1 single this week.
Luude’s Down Under also looks set to crack the Top 5 for the first time this week, up one to Number 5.
Jax Jones and MNEK could also break into the Top 10 with Where Did You Go possibly vaulting to Number 7, with reigning Number 1 We Don’t Talk About Bruno following at 9.
George Ezra’s Anyone For You continues its upward climb on the chart, this week could see it hitting another highest peak; this time one step closer to the Top 10 (11).
Following their performance on The One Show last week, Griff and Sigrid’s Head On Fire is also on track to crack the Top 40 for the first time, jumping 33 slots midweek to Number 13. It would be Griff’s 2nd Top 40 entry, as well as Sigrid’s 4th and first in three years.
This week’s highest new entry could go to ArrDee with Come & Go set to debut at Number 14 – the Brighton rapper’s possible 5th Top 40 record in less than a year.
Camila Cabello’s Bam Bam featuring Ed Sheeran is on its way to become her 15th Top 40 single, another new midweek entry at Number 16.
And finally, Tiesto and Ava Max’s The Motto could hit a new peak, rising two spots to Number 17.
