EXCLUSIVE: Horror film Stream, from the producers of the breakout Terrifier franchise, has secured an August 21 U.S., Canada and Mexico theatrical release via Iconic Events Releasing.
The production reunited almost the entire Terrifier 2 crew, from the production assistants to producer Phil Falcone, composer Paul Wiley and special effects whizz and producer, Damien Leone. The film’s director Michael Leavy was a producer, actor and AD on the Terrifier sequel.
Stream‘s cast includes well known genre names such as Jeffrey Combs (Re-Animator), Danielle Harris (Halloween 4, 5), Tony Todd (Candyman), Tim Reid (IT), Dee Wallace (E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial) and David Howard Thornton (Terrifier).
The logline reads: “As the Keenan’s try to bring their family closer together, they unwittingly enter themselves into a game of life or death. With four deranged killers patrolling the halls of their hotel and competing for the most creative kills, the odds are definitely stacked against them.”
Above is a first poster image for the movie and below is a first still. Talks are ongoing about a potential sales agent for the Cannes market.
Fuzz on the Lens Productions produces. Steven Della Salla, Michael Leavy and Jason Leavy produce. Exec producer is Naresh Peter Menezes.
Terrifier 3 is currently in production and due to be released in fall of this year.
