The Commitments is one of the most iconic Irish movies ever made, and so it is understandable that the stars of the movie were left in a total state of confusion when they weren’t involved in a Late Late Show segment dedicated to its anniversary.
The special was a 30th-anniversary celebration for The Commitments, but according to actor Robert Arkins, who played band manager Jimmy Rabbitte, the whole cast was left in ‘pure confusion’ as the anniversary episode aired.
