Brad Pitt fights back tears on new home makeover show Celebrity IOU

For John Krasinski's Internet show, Some Good News, Oscar-winning actor Brad Pitt made an unexpected cameo. Pitt served as the segment's weatherman, briefly reporting from what appears to be his Los Angeles home in a seven-second appearance.Other notable faces you might recognize in this episode include all of the Jonas Brothers, Chance the Rapper, and Billie Eilish.Brad Pitt can now safely add weatherman to his multihyphenate career.

On an episode of the Property Brothers' new series, Celebrity IOU, Brad Pitt assists in providing his longtime makeup artist, Jean Black, with a massive home renovation. Pitt credited Black as being "like family," and in a preview clip from the series he can be seen shedding a tear as he surprises his friend with her new home.

Brad Pitt is not a handyman by trade but he's certainly got a soft spot for helping people feel comfortable in their homes. The 56-year-old actor made his debut on HGTV on Monday night with an appearance in the new hit series "Celebrity IOU." The show gives A-list celebrities an opportunity to give back to the individuals who have had a positive impact on their lives with home renovations.

He donned a hard hat back in 2007 to help rebuild homes after the devastating Katrina hurricane in New Orleans, so  Brad Pitt  is no stranger to getting his hands dirty and doing some hard lifting. So when Canadian duo Jonathan and Drew Scott invited him to participate in their new show “Celebrity IOU,” it was a no-brainer for the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood actor.

In a very touching moment, Brad Pitt surprised his longtime makeup artist by transforming her home while she was away. Brad appeared on Celebrity IOU with Drew and Jonathan Scott, which premiered on Monday, to help give Jean Black a brand new guest house.

Brad Pitt was the first guest on the new HGTV series Celebrity IOU, in which the Property Brothers are joined by celebs to give the unsung heroes in their lives a home makeover.
