A 14-year-old boy has been arrested after a woman was raped in a nightclub toilet. Police previously confirmed they were investigating reports of a woman being raped inside a toilet cubicle at Bloom in Manchester city centre in the early hours of Wednesday (June 29).
The female customer and her friends reported being approached by a teenager offering to sell them drugs at around 4.15am, according to police. One friend claimed security staff said "have a good one mate" to the teenager as he entered the male toilets with the woman, according to a police report.
Once inside a toilet cubicle, the teenage boy is alleged to have raped the woman. She text her friends about 20 minutes later asking for help, the report says, and explained what had happened to staff at the nightclub.
