Joe Otterson TV ReporterThe untitled HBO series about the Los Angeles Lakers has added five to its cast, with Bo Burnham also exiting the series.It was reported in March that Burnham had been cast in the role of Celtics legend Larry Bird. According to an individual with knowledge of the situation, Burnham is no longer involved with the project due to scheduling conflicts.Sean Patrick Small will instead play Bird.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Waller-Bridge and Glover differed in their creative vision of the project, leading her to exit the project entirely. The role is currently being recast, and Amazon is on track for the series to debut in 2022.The pair and co-stars in “Solo: A Star Wars Story” worked on the series after Glover originally thought of the idea.
