Britain’s Got Talent star Charlotte Jaconelli has shared a photo of her and ex-partner Jonathan Antoine to mark ten years since the duo wowed audiences on the talent show. Charlotte and Jonathan, then 16 and 17, won the hearts of the nation as an opera singing duo when they appeared on the show in 2012, with Jonathan famously deciding to stick with Charlotte after Simon Cowell suggested he perform alone.To celebrate ten years since their journey began, Charlotte shared a photo of ex singing partner Jonathan to commemorate the passing of a decade since they appeared on the show.
Sharing a photo of them performing on the show together, Charlotte wrote: “My @bgt final was 10 years ago today”.Then referring to the amount of views their performance has on YouTube she wrote: “14.2 million views LOL”. A chance suggestion by their singing teacher that they should try singing together was what encouraged them to audition for Simon Cowell's talent show.The pair went on to be runners up on the show, coming in behind dancing dog Pudsey, with the pair going on to have successful singing careers, including performing on arena tours and selling over two million albums. However, after releasing two albums together, the pair decided to part ways after being offered solo albums with Sony Classical.
