The presidential campaigns of Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden are cancelling rallies planned for Tuesday night in Cleveland amid concerns over the spread of the coronavirus.
“Out of concern for public health and safety, we are canceling tonight’s rally in Cleveland,” said Mike Casca, the campaign’s communications director. “We are heeding the public warnings from Ohio state officials, who have communicated concern about holding large, indoor events during the coronavirus outbreak.
