Benidorm viewers will remember teen mum Chantelle ‘Telle’ Garvey from the iconic show, though fans can’t get over how different she looks now. Actress Hannah Hobley-Smith, who played Chantelle from 2007 to 2009, looks dramatically different since leaving the show 14 years ago and is world’s away from her days as the popular character.
During her two years on Benidorm, Hannah’s character Chantelle was known for accompanying her parents Mick and Janice while on their annual visit to the Solana all-inclusive hotel.The Garvey family also welcomed a new addition to the family in series two when Chantelle gave birth to her son Coolio. Since stepping back from the show, 34 year old Hanna sports a very different look compared to her days playing Chantelle - who was known for her heavy use of eyeliner, poker straight hair and love of pink tracksuits.These days, Hannah looks unrecognisable with her lush brunette hairdo and radiant make-up and she often posts snaps from her day-to-day life on Instagram.
In fact, the star has documented several milestone occasions on the site, where she has 17,000 followers, and in November 2022 she revealed that she’d given birth to a baby girl called Beatrice Hobley-Smith . Announcing the news, the TV star said that her daughter arrived two weeks later than planned but that she “was well and truly worth the wait.” More recently, Hannah announced in February that she’d tied the knot to partner Nathan in a stunning winter wedding.
“Getting married 14 weeks after giving birth… Because why shouldn’t you fulfil life’s two biggest achievements within the space of a year?!,” she wrote on Instagram. And while Hannah’s Benidorm days may be behind her, it’s clear that she still holds a spot for the show
