Baywatch star reveals breast cancer diagnosis as she shares unusual symptoms

Baywatch star Nicole Eggert has revealed she was diagnosed with stage 2 cribriform carcinoma breast cancer last month and shared her unusual symptoms. The TV star said she had a sudden weight gain of 25 pounds in just three months as well as discovering a lump in her left breast during a self-check in October. Nicole opened up about her experience and said she attempted to get an immediate appointment but was met with delays and waited until late November to get a mammogram and three biopsies.
She told People: “It really was throbbing and hurting, I immediately went to my general practitioner and she told me I had to immediately go get it looked at. But the problem was I just couldn't get an appointment. Everything was booked.
So I had to wait until the end of November to get it done.” After the appointment, Nicole said reports came back positive for cancer and the journey has been “rough”. Nicole is currently waiting on her oncologist to determine when chemotherapy and radiation will start and if she can have surgery beforehand. She also doesn’t know if the cancer has spread to other parts of her body and said she “just wants it out”.
“I have panics where I'm like, just get this out of me. You sit there and it's in you and you're like, every second that passes and it's inside of me. It's growing, and you're just like, you just want it out,” she said.
This isn’t Nicole's first experience with cancer as her father battled skin cancer and her mother battled colon cancer. Nicole said her “biggest fear” is not being there for her daughters Keegan, 12, and Dilyn, 25. She said: “[Dilyn’s] an adult, but I have a 12 year old at home where I'm the only caregiver.
