Aldi shoppers have been left disappointed after the supermarket's viral Ninja air fryer 'dupe' has, once again, been hard to find.
The budget supermarket chain's £89.99 Ambiano Dual Basket Air Fryer was so popular when it first launched in November last year that it crashed Aldi's website and sold out almost instantly.
As air fryers are still high in demand, the discounter officially brought back its kitchen gadget last month, though it quickly sold out once again online. Despite selling out, a few lucky shoppers did mention that they have managed to spot it in-stores, so it is worth keeping an eye on stock availability.
It's hard not to see why the Ambano air fryer is so popular. Not only is it more energy-efficient than using the oven, but it has been compared to the Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer that would set you back £219.99
That means that savvy Aldi shoppers were able to save a mammoth £130 with the supermarket's 'dupe' air fryer. The dual basket air fryer came with two cooking baskets, a multi-function touch control panel, an overheat protection, detachable non-stick cooking pot and frying tray and a stainless steel heating element.
If you don't want to pay the near £200 for one of the bestselling Ninja model's, and you can't find Aldi's 'dupe' in your local store, then we have a found a few other alternatives that you can currently buy on the high-street.
Where: Dunelm
Price: £110
Dunelm is stocking this family-sized air fryer as part of its Special Buys offer online. With its dual cooking baskets, it is very similar to both Aldi and Ninja's air fryers.
While its £110 price-tag is slightly dearer than Aldi's, it is still almost £90 cheaper compared to the pricier brand.
