The Upshaws are back!

Netflix has released the trailer for Season 4 of The Upshaws ahead of its August 17 premiere.

, the satirical cult comedy about the Hollywood industry, is ending after three seasons, ET can confirm. The season 3 finale, which drops Thursday on Max, will now serve as the series' last episode.Created by former head writers Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider, the half-hour series follows two siblings, Cary (Drew Tarver) and Brooke (Heléne York), struggling to make it in New York while their teenage brother, Chase (Case Walker), catapults to fame after going viral on the internet.

The Other Two, the comedy series starring Heléne Yorke, Drew Tarver and Molly Shannon, is coming to a close with its third season on Max.

Joe Otterson TV Reporter “Velma” has been renewed for Season 2 at Max. The announcement was made at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival by Suzanna Makkos, the executive vice president of original comedy and adult animation for Max and Adult Swim, during her “Share With” session. “Velma” debuted its first season on what was then HBO Max in January. The adult animated comedy series tells the origin story of Velma Dinkley and the Mystery Inc. gang from “Scooby Doo.” Mindy Kaling voices Velma with the cast also including Glenn Howerton, Sam Richardson, Constance Wu, Jane Lynch, Ming-Na Wen, Wanda Sykes, and more. Charlie Grandy developed the series for television and serves as executive producer and showrunner. Kaling also executive produces along with Howard Klein and Sam Register.

Velma will be back. Max has renewed Mindy Kaling’s adult animated series for a second season. Suzanna Makkos, EVP, Original Comedy and Adult Animation, Max and Adult Swim, revealed the renewal during a panel at Annecy International Animated Film Festival Thursday, where she also talked about upcoming projects and previewed Max’s upcoming adult animation slate.

William Earl Comedian Amy Schumer sets her sights on Alec Baldwin and the tragic “Rust” shooting in her new Netflix comedy special, “Emergency Contact.” The set, which was taped during her Dec. 10 shows at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, debuted on the platform on June 13. Late in the show, Schumer discusses Baldwin’s wife Hilaria, an yoga influencer who has implied Spanish heritage even though she was born in Boston to a family that liked to vacation in Spain. “Hilaria from España is actually Hillary from Boston,” Schumer said. “This woman is in no way Spanish — her parents are not from Spain, no one in her life is from Spain.”

Those deaths and the racial reckoning that followed were not obvious fodder for making people laugh. “All that stuff just kept piling on,” Sykes says, her voice softer and more tentative than the tart Southern twang she deploys on stage. “I knew I wanted to talk about it, but I just didn’t know how to make it funny. We were all just so angry.”

Netflix on Tuesday announced the new animated films In Your Dreams and Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie, coming to the platform in 2024, also setting new voice cast for the fantasy adventure Nimona and offering new first-look stills from each of its animated titles debuting over the next 18 months, which you can view above and below.

Ethan Shanfeld Brooke and Cary are back as television’s funniest forgotten siblings in Season 3 of “The Other Two,” returning to HBO Max with two new episodes on May 4. Drew Tarver, Heléne Yorke, Molly Shannon, Ken Marino and Case Walker star in the 10-episode season alongside recurring cast Josh Segarra, Wanda Sykes and Brandon Scott Jones. The Season 3 logline, per HBO Max, reads: “After comparing themselves for years to their much-younger pop star brother, ChaseDreams (Walker), who is now a full adult, and their talk show host mother (Shannon), who’s now more powerful than she could have ever imagined, Brooke and Cary (Yorke and Tarver) are finally standing on their own two feet — fully ‘successful’ in their own right! And yet, they somehow find themselves comparing themselves to new people once again???”

Ana Navarro switched up “The View” for “The Daily Show” to talk politics with guest host John Leguizamo Monday night — but not before dragging the Comedy Central series for taking 10 guest hosts before finally hiring a Latino.“Let’s not f–k it up,” she quipped. Leguizamo, most recently seen in hit feature films like “The Menu” and “Encanto” and next in “The Power” on Amazon’s Prime Video, began the interview by applauding the fact that “The Daily Show” was spotlighting a “Latina guest and a Latino host” side by side.

The late-night program, which has relied on celebrity guest such as Leslie Jones and Sarah Silverman in the wake of the departure of Trevor Noah last year, will now give its correspondents a crack at leading the program over the next few weeks. Ronny Chieng, Michael Kosta, Desi Lydic, Dulcé Sloan, Roy Wood Jr., Lewis Black and Jordan Klepper will all get a chance to host the program between the week of April 3 and the week of May 8, Comedy Central announced Friday. Roy Wood Jr. will start the rotation during the week of April 3, followed by Jordan Klepper the week of April 17. Desi Lydic will host the program the week of April 24 ,and Dulce Sloan will anchor the series the week of May 1. Michael Kosta will lead during the week of May 8. Ronny Chieng and Lewis Black have not been assigned weeks as of yet.

On the English Films side, Idris Elba returned as detective John Luther in “Luther: The Fallen Sun.” The thriller, featuring Cynthia Erivo, Andy Serkis and Dermot Crowley debuted at No. 1 with 65.9 million hours viewed. Chris Rock’s live standup special “Selective Outrage” made its first appearance on Netflix’s Global Top 10 chart at No. 8 on the English titles list with 17.79 million hours viewed. Live from Baltimore’s Hippodrome Theatre, Rock’s first standup show following the infamous 2022 Oscar’s slap was one of several live offerings on Saturday as Netflix accompanied it with pre- and post-show coverage featuring appearances from Ronnie Chieng, Leslie Jones, Deon Cole and Arsenio Hall, among others, as well as appearances and commentary from Amy Schumer, Cedric the Entertainer, Ice-T, Jerry Seinfeld, Kevin Hart, Paul McCartney, Sarah Silverman and Wanda Sykes.
