Johnny Depp is celebrating his 60th birthday.  The actor has been entertaining audiences since he first appeared on-screen at the age of 21 in the 1984 horror movie "A Nightmare on Elm Street," playing Glen Lantz. Depp has since transformed for a handful of roles over the years, including his latest project as Louis XV.

The hype is real. DC’s The Flash may not be the greatest comic book movie ever made, but it comes damn close. Easily the best in the genre since Spider-Man: No Way Home, this fresh, invigorating and hugely entertaining summer treat is as good as it gets when it comes to cinematic takes on superheroes.

Michael Keaton is reuniting with Tim Burton to revive filmdom’s most beloved bio-exorcist in a long-awaited sequel to “Beetlejuice”.

DCEU fans already know from the trailers that Andy Muschietti‘s “The Flash” has a bunch of cameos from previous DC movies. For instance, Michael Shannon shows up as General Zod, Ben Affleck reprises his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman; and, in one of the upcoming film’s multiversal twists, so does Michael Keaton from Tim Burton‘s “Batman” films.

McKinley Franklin editor Max has revealed the rollout plans for its four original documentary specials narrated by Morgan Freeman in honor of Warner Bros.’ 100th anniversary.  The first two specials will make their debut at Cannes on May 24 as 2023 Official Cannes Classics Selections, followed by a May 25 debut on Max. The remaining two specials will be available to stream on Max on June 1.  The “100 Years of Warner Bros.” docuseries pays homage to the output of Warner Bros. over the past century. Featuring interviews with directors, actors, executives, journalists and historians, the specials highlight everything from the studios’ early beginnings to its presence in the modern day.

The film is a sequel to Burton’s 1988 classic about a family in their new home and the married ghost couple (Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis) trying to dispel them. The family’s curious goth teenage daughter, Lydia Deetz (Winona Ryder), is the only human able to see the ghosts. After befriending them, Lydia soon finds herself mixed up in horrors and complexities of the afterlife. In 2013, Ryder addressed the possibility of a “Beetlejuice 2.” She told the Daily Beast, “It’s not a remake. It’s 27 years later. And I have to say, I love Lydia so much. She was such a huge part of me. I would be really interested in what she is doing 27 years later.”
