Netflix comedy film Do Revenge has been revealed, featuring Billie Eilish, Robyn and Caroline Polachek.Loosely inspired by Alfred Hitchcock’s Strangers On A Train, Do Revenge is a black comedy which follows high school students, Drea (Camila Mendes) and Eleanor (Maya Hawke), as they seek revenge against each other’s bullies.A synopsis reads: “After a clandestine run-in, Drea (Alpha, fallen it girl) and Eleanor (beta, new alt girl) team up to go after each other’s tormentors. Do Revenge is a subverted Hitchcock-ian dark comedy featuring the scariest protagonists of all: teenage girls.”Directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson (Someone Great), the film also stars Sophie Turner, Rish Shah, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Austin Abrams, Eliza Bennett, Alisha Boe, Talia Ryder and Paris Berelc.The film’s soundtrack features a broad range of tracks, from recent hits by the likes of Olivia Rodrigo to dance classics like Fatboy Slim’s ‘Praise You’.

Jem Aswad Senior Music Editor Universal Music Publishing Group has named Jennifer Knoepfle executive vice president and co-head of US A&R, effective immediately, the company announced on Wednesday. Based in Los Angeles, Knoepfle will report to UMPG chairman-CEO Jody Gerson. According to the announcement, Knoepfle — who joins after 13 years at Sony Music Publishing, where she worked with Gerson — will work closely with David Gray, her fellow co-head of U.S. A&R, and the company’s team. Knoepfle was most recently senior VP of creative at Sony Music Publishing, where she had worked since 2009. During her tenure, she signed and/or developed such major writers as Jack Antonoff, Aaron Dessner, Dan Nigro, Ariel Rechtshaid, Bloodpop, Joel Little and artists including Willow, Tate McRae, King Princess, Remi Wolf, Maggie Rogers, Leon Bridges, Wallows, Salem Ilese, Noah Kahan and Lord Huron. Hosted by LL Cool J, Nicki Minaj and Jack Harlow, the 38th annual VMAs will begin at 8 p.m. ET at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. The pre-show, hosted by Nessa and Kevan Kenney, with special celebrity correspondent Tate McRae, will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET. Pre-show performers include Dove Cameron, Yung Gravy and Saucy Santana. In addition to airing live on MTV, the in-person ceremony will be simulcast on The CW, BET, BET Her, CMT, Comedy Central, Logo, MTV2, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, Pop, TVLand and VH1.

Carson Burton Yung Gravy, Dove Cameron and MTV PUSH artist Saucy Santana are set to perform during the VMAs pre-show event.The 90-minute event is hosted by Nessa and Kevan Kenney and will also feature coverage from Tate McRae, who joins as a special celebrity correspondent. Murda Beatz will also make an appearance as the Kraft Singles House DJ. The pre-show will air live on Sunday, Aug. 28 at 6:30 p.m.
