Lizzo showcased her sterling vocals while covering an uplifting Sam Cooke classic, “A Change Is Gonna Come,” for the One World: Together At Home concert on Saturday night (Apr. 18).Although the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter has become a star thanks to uptempo pop hits like “Truth Hurts” and “Good As Hell,” she offered a different type of motivation while taking on the 1964 Civil Rights Movement touchstone and translating its message to the coronavirus pandemic.
