The Alphabet net has given a pilot order to his latest sitcom, “Shifting Gears,” from 20th Television. Allen is on board to star and executive produce the multi-cam sitcom pilot — which is still a working title — which will also be written and executive produced by Mike Scully and Julie Thacker Scully.

Disney+ has dropped the trailer for Season 2 of The Santa Clauses, which finds the Calvin family back at the North Pole and Scott Calvin (Tim Allen) facing some stiff competition from Eric Stonestreet‘s Magnus Anta (aka The Mad Santa).

With his 65th birthday on the horizon, Scott — whose Santa magic is beginning to fade — searches for a replacement Santa Claus suitable enough to manage the workshop and take care of the elves. After announcing his plans to retire in the teaser, Santa interviews NFL hall of fame quarterback Peyton Manning for the position.
