Both actors have expressed interest in returning for a new “Spider-Man” movie.

Ever wonder what a Spider-Man would be like if someone mashed up the superhero with the likes of “Sin City” or “The Spirit“? Well, wonder no more: Variety reports that Amazon has a “Spider-Man Noir” live-action series in the works. And this isn’t any old multiversal take on Peter Parker.

Marvel surprised fans on Friday with an exclusive first look at Spider-Man: Freshman Year, and a handful of their upcoming animated series, at a panel at Comic Con Friday, hosted by comedian Paul F. Tompkins, which included Marvel Studios head of streaming, television and animation Brad Minderbaum and head of visual development Ryan Meinerding and the creators of their upcoming animated series.
