Emmerdale fans went wild over a subtle matching pyjama scene on Monday night as Marlon Dingle finally discovered the truth about newcomer Marcus Dean. Earlier this year, Marcus, who is the son of the rapist and killer Pierce Harris, showed up in the village after learning that his father was dying and has since been sorting out his will following the evil character's death.

Emmerdale was full of drama on Wednesday as Mackenzie Boyd and Cain Dingle decided to team up in a bid to get revenge on Al Chapman. During the latest instalment, Al, who is feeling the pressure from Gavin after The Woolpack explosion, attempted to get Marlon and Chas Dingle to sign the contract. However, Paddy Kirk pointed out that the plans would destroy Grace’s memorial and Chas, after reading through the papers, realised that the price had been dropped by £20K.

Emmerdale actor Dominic Brunt, 51, has been a big part of the soap portraying the role of Paddy Kirk. Dominic has been playing the role since 1997, and he's been nominated in the category of Best Actor at the 2011 British Soap Awards.The soap star has been part of some huge and tense storylines from adult grief to weddings, but his life at home is a far cry away from the dramatic life Paddy leads.

Twitter, Michelle replied to a tweet from her co star Dominic Brunt, who plays Paddy Kirk, which said: "True representation of me trying to make Emmerdale scripts stick in my head after time off," alongside an image of a man hammering nails into sand. Michelle, who plays Vanessa Woodfield, wrote: "I’m already having anxiety dreams," alongside three laughing face emojis.

Emmerdale star Lucy Pargeter, who plays Chastity Dingle on the hit ITV soap, usually graces our screens with partner Paddy Kirk, played by Dominic Brunt, in their cosy countryside home. However, in reality the 43 year old actress’ home is far more modern and quirky then the abode of her on-screen counterpart.
