Netflix’s "The Crown" has released new photos for season five of the hit series, which included a first look of the new cast.  The fifth season will star Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, Dominic West as Prince Charles and Debicki as Princess Diana. Olivia Williams joins them as Camilla Parker Bowles, and Jonny Lee Miller will appear as Prime Minister John Major.

The long-awaited fifth season of “The Crown” is on the horizon, tackling what was arguably the most turbulent period in the reign of Queen Elizabeth II.

Netflix’s Tudum has released new photos from Season 5 of The Crown, which includes the first images of Princes William and Harry, along with photos of Imelda Staunton as the Queen, Elizabeth Debicki as Diana and Dominic West as Charles, among others.

The stills show a lonely-looking Princess Diana (played by Elizabeth Debicki, taking over from Emma Corrin in the previous season) clad in a sparkly gown as she heads into a glamorous evening engagement, her shoulders hunched and head bowed. In a separate image, Prince Charles (played by Dominic West, who replaces Josh O’Connor from seasons 3 and 4) and his mistress Camilla Parker Bowles (played by Olivia Williams, who steps into Emerald Fennell’s shoes) are beaming while huddling together outdoors as they appear to watch a fireworks display.

In the U.S., viewership of “The Crown” more than quadrupled from Friday-Sunday compared with the previous week, and in France viewing jumped threefold, per Whip Media.

Sundance Now has dropped the first trailer for Ten Percent, the UK remake of hit French comedy Call My Agent! in what looks to be a fairly faithful and quite fun adaptation. Sundance Now and AMC+ will premiere the first two episodes on April 29 in the U.S., with the rest of the season following weekly. Amazon has UK rights and is due to launch this spring.

There’s some big casting news for The Crown season five!
