The Great British Bake Off makes its return to our screens on Tuesday night (September 13). A fresh batch of amateur culinarians are ready to take on signature, technical and showstopper bakes in a bid to impress the judges - and prove themselves as star baker.

The Great British Bake Off returns to our screens tonight and we can practically smell all that cake baking in the oven. A new cohort of 12 contestants will try their best to impress Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith in the 13th series of the hit cooking show, while Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding will continue bringing all the fun. With past winners going on to have their own cookbooks and TV appearances, this year’s contestants will certainly have a lot to live up to.

As usual, they will need to impress judges Paul Hollywood and Dame Prue Leith to be crowned the champion, while hosts Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding are also back for series 13. The Great British Bake Off start date has been announced.Taking to their official Instagram page, the show shared a snap of Paul Hollywood, Dame Prue Leith, Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding.The caption then read: "In knead of some good news? Here’s a little something… "The Great British Bake Off is back on your screens on Tuesday 13th September at 8pm!" Caroline Flack's family have announced a festival in her memory named Flackstock to celebrate the Love Island presenter's life. It has been revealed Louise Redknapp, Fleur East, and Natalie Imbruglia are three of the performers chosen to sing at the event dedicated to the late Love Island presenter. Flackstock will kick off at Englefield House in Berkshire, and Louise, 47, Fleur, 34, and Natalie, 47, will be joined by comedians Joel Dommett, 36, Keith Lemon, 48, and Noel Fielding, also 48, who are also performing.

Great British Bake Off‘s all-star spin-off had viewers creasing over Emma Willis’ phallic-shaped biscuits. In Tuesday’s installment of the Stand Up To Cancer special, celebrities Clara Amfo, Blake Harrison, Alex Horne, and Emma were challenged by Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood to create animal-shaped biscuits. The former Big Brother host, 46, opted for Viennese elephant biscuits which were decorated with icing and white chocolate.

The Great British Bake Off's charity edition, Stand-up to Cancer, was back on our screens again on Channel 4 tonight (March 22) with a host of celebrities entering the white tent to face a series of intense baking challenges. In the special one-hour long programme, the famous faces were tasked with coming up with their own biscuit designs to impress judges and cooking experts Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood. However, viewers already had something to say about presenter Emma Willis' design that look like something very naughty.

Each episode will see four celebrities compete in the Bake Off tent, with a total of five episodes being aired in total.

Channel 4. The show also got new presenters Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig after BBC hosts Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins chose to leave following the move. In 2020, Sandi announced she would be leaving the show and was replaced by Little Britain star Matt Lucas.
