Justin Timberlake and Timbaland have teased a potential forthcoming collaboration with Nelly Furtado.The trio’s single ‘Give It To Me’ has recently gone viral on TikTok with hundreds of thousands of videos created to a sped-up version of the song.Timbaland took to Instagram this week to hint that another track from the trio is coming soon, with Timbaland having worked extensively with Timberlake in the past, and also with Furtado on 2006 album ‘Loose’.The first post shared was of a photo of Timbaland and Timberlake in the studio on a FaceTime call with Furtado, in which he called them “da dream team”.A second post featured a snippet of Furtado vocals on an unheard track, to which he wrote: “Oooooooo boyyyyyyy. When he sold the label to Entertainment One in 2016, he also shuttered his legal practice to head the eOne Music Group, which was rebranded MNRK Music Group after parent company Hasbro sold the company to Blackstone in 2021 for a reported $385 million.

Thania Garcia The Foo Fighters are gearing up for a bustling touring season — their first without drummer Taylor Hawkins, who died tragically in Colombia last year — that kicks off with a date in New Hampshire in the coming week. Taking on the challenge of filling Hawkins’ role, as Variety tipped back in January, will be Josh Freese. Although the name might not seem entirely familiar at first glance, it’s more than likely you’ve either heard and even own a record that has him listed in the credits. Freese joins the group after having played alongside a star-studded lineup for the Hawkins tribute concerts that the Foos put together in London and Los Angeles last fall. He’s also a longtime friend of both Grohl and Hawkins and is a seasoned session act who has performed and toured with rock bands Guns N’ Roses, A Perfect Circle, Puddle of Mudd, Nine Inch Nails, Weezer, Paramore, the Replacements, Sting and the Vandals, to name a few. Freese was most recently drumming for Danny Elfman and the Offspring, with whom he was touring up until last year.

The line-up for this Portola Festival in San Francisco, California has been announced with headliners Skrillex and Eric Prydz presents Holo. The electronic music festival takes place at Pier 80 on September 30 and October 1.

Timbaland has confirmed that his longtime collaborator Justin Timberlake has finished his next album.The two have been collaborating since the late ’90s, across all of the singer’s solo albums. Now in a recent interview with Variety, the Grammy Award-winning producer revealed that he has been helping Timberlake with his next record.“We just finished up and everything sounds great,” said Timbaland.
