Tributes to 'Mr Bennett' from Take Hart have been paid following his sad death. Colin Bennett, the much-loved Children's BBC actor, was remembered by many for his role on the children's show and its spin-off Heartbeat.

His son Tom Bennett, who is also an actor and has appeared in shows like After Life and EastEnders, shared the heartbreaking news on X, formerly known as Twitter. Alongside a photo of his late father, Tom wrote: "My Dad (Mr Bennett) sadly passed away 2 weeks ago today.
