A New York has tossed out a lawsuit brought by a producer who accused Michael Corn, a former top producer at Good Morning America, of sexual assault.

The one-time Fox News Channel personality, also known for his time as a syndicated daytime presence, has joined Nexstar Media’s NewsNation as a correspondent at large, effective immediately. He is expected to appear across daytime and primetime programming and will make his first appearance Wednesday evening on “Cuomo,” which airs at 8 p.m.

Mulvaney, who has left a contributor role at CBS News, is expected to take up his new duties immediately, appearing on the new politics-roundtable program “The Hill” at 5 p.m. Tuesday. “Mick’s enormous experience in the political sector will make him an incredible resource to viewers,” said Michael Corn, president of news at NewsNation, in a statement. “We are excited to welcome him to our growing powerhouse team of political analysts, especially as we enter another important election season.”

Cable news network NewsNation will expand to a 24-hour schedule from Monday through Friday, the cable network announced Monday.Alongside the 24-hour news offerings, which began Monday, April 24, the network will also launch “NewsNation Now,” a live four-hour weekday programming block airing from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET.After a rotation of journalists anchor the 1:00 p.m.

Elizabeth Vargas is the latest news veteran to join Nexstar’s NewsNation, with plans to launch a weekday news program on April 3.

Both women reported to Corn, who also for a time supervised “World News Tonight.” Crawford also alleged she lost opportunities to advance at work after she began trying to avoid Corn.

according to the Wall Street Journal. Per the paper, “Good Morning America” executive producer Simone Swink told staffers earlier this week that an independent probe into former senior executive producer Michael Corn “is not happening at this time.” ABC news producer Kirstyn Crawford sued Corn and the network in August, accusing him of assault and ABC News of doing nothing when she raised the issue internally.

The Walt Disney Co. held mediation talks with a current and former employee who alleged that a former top producer for Good Morning America sexually assaulted them.

The promotion comes just days after Swink’s predecessor, former “GMA” senior executive producer Michael Corn, was accused of sexual assault by two ABC producers. Corn had left ABC in April to become president of news for NexStar’s NewsNation and has denied all allegations.
