Not content to show off its 2023 slate, Paramount’s CinemaCon presentation offered a few sneak peeks at next year’s releases. John Krasinski took to the stage to offer the first look at the next “Quiet Place” movie. Written and directed by Michael Sarnoski (who helmed Nicolas Cage’s “Pig”), the New York-set prequel will star Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff, Djimon Hounsou and Denis O’Hare.

Paramount Animation, Hasbro and eOne are teaming on the first-ever animated Transformers movie, now titled Transformers One. Directed by Josh Cooley and executive produced by Steven Spielberg, the origins story’s key voice cast includes Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Jon Hamm and Laurence Fishburne. Release is scheduled for July 19, 2024.

Rebecca Rubin Film and Media Reporter Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson will lead the voice cast of “Transformers One,” an animated prequel about the epic rivalry between the Autobots and the Decepticons. Hemsworth is playing young Optimus Prime, Henry is voicing young Megatron in the origin story about how the brothers-in-arms turned into sworn enemies. Additional cast members include Johansson as Elita, Keegan-Michael Key as Bumblebee, Jon Hamm as Sentinel Prime and Laurence Fishburne as Alpha Trion. “Toy Story 4” filmmaker Josh Cooley is directing the film from a screenplay by Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari. It’s set to release in theaters on July 19, 2024.

Angelique Jackson CAA has signed rising British star Rosy McEwen.  The actor, who was not previously represented in the U.S., will be represented by the agency in all areas.  McEwen will next be seen opposite Julia Garner in Paramount Players’ “Apartment 7A.” The mysterious new psychological thriller, which is speculated to be connected to “Rosemary’s Baby,” is produced by John Krasinski and Allyson Seeger (for Sunday Night), along with Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller (through Platinum Dunes). The project is directed by Natalie Erika James. She is best known for playing Libby Hatch in “The Alienist.” The TNT limited series, which is based on the best-selling novel by Caleb Carr and starred Dakota Fanning, Daniel Brühl and Luke Evans.

EJ Panaligan editor The heroes in a half-shell are back. The first trailer for Paramount Pictures’ and Seth Rogen’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem” reboot has been released. It’s the latest iteration of Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael and Donatello after several TV shows and film runs, and this is the second fully animated version to hit the big screen. Revealed on Saturday, the voice cast includes Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu and Brady Noon as the roles of Donatello, Michelangelo, Leonardo and Raphael, respectively. The A-list cast has Jackie Chan as Master Splinter, Ayo Edebiri as April O’Neil, Rogen as Bebop, John Cena as Rocksteady, Hannibal Buress as Genghis Frog, Rose Byrne as Leatherhead, Ice Cube as Superfly, Natasia Demetriou as Wingnut, Giancarlo Esposito as Baxter Stockman, Post Malone as Ray Fillet, Paul Rudd as Mondo Gecko and Maya Rudolph as Cynthia Utrom.

J. Kim Murphy Actor Tom Sizemore has been hospitalized after suffering a bran aneurysm. He is currently in critical condition. Sizemore’s representation confirmed the actor’s health status. His family has been made aware of the circumstances. Things are currently a “wait and see situation,” per Sizemore’s representation. According to reports, Sizemore was discovered at his Los Angeles home around 2 a.m. and was promptly transferred to a local hospital. The 61-year-old Sizemore came into his own as a Hollywood actor in the 1990s, building a career out through a variety of tough guy roles in action and drama films. He is likely best known for his performance as Technical Sergeant Mike Horvath in Steven Spielberg’s 1998 war film “Saving Private Ryan,” which was nominated for best picture at the Academy Awards.

EXCLUSIVE: Prime Video is developing an action drama series from film and TV writer Joe Barton and director-producer Michael Bay. The project hails from A+E Studios, in association with Range Studios, and Amazon Studios.

Alex Wolff (Hereditary) will reteam with Pig filmmaker Michael Sarnoski on the Paramount Pictures horror A Quiet Place: Day One, Deadline can confirm. He’s set to star alongside Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o and Stranger Things breakout Joseph Quinn.

Deadpool.Miller, who played Weasel in Deadpool and its 2018 sequel, recently said he wouldn’t work with Reynolds again after having “not a great experience” with the actor during filming.“Would I work with him again? No, I would not work with him again,” Miller said on the Adam Corolla Show earlier this month. “But I’ve said that about Michael Bay, and now we’re friends, and I would work with him again.

Kim Murphy Michelle Yeoh and Pete Davidson are rolling out for “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts,” with both actors cast in voice roles in the upcoming franchise entry from Paramount. “Rise of the Beasts” director Steven Caple Jr. shared the news of the pair joining the production through an Instagram post on Tuesday afternoon, featuring two different videos from recording sessions — the first with Davidson and the second with Yeoh.A post shared by Steven Caple Jr. (@stevencaplejr) Yeoh voices a character named Airazor, while Davidson voices Mirage. “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” is produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Michael Bay, Mark Vahradian and Duncan Henderson. The film is set to hit theaters on June 9, 2023.

Deadpool.Miller, who appeared alongside Reynolds in the first two Deadpool films, said he wouldn’t work with Reynolds again following  the experience.Speaking on the Adam Corolla Show, Miller said: “Would I work with him again? No, would not work with him again…But I’ve said that about Michael Bay, and now we’re friends, and I would work with him again. But I think Michael Bay is different.”Miller claimed working with Reynolds was “not a great experience” and continued: “we had a really weird moment on Deadpool where he said, ‘Let’s do one more take.’ And then as the character, he was horrifically mean to me as if I’m Weasel.“So he was like, ‘You know what’s great about you, Weasel? You’re not the star, but you do just enough exposition so that it’s funny, and then we can leave and get back to the real movie.’”Miler said he thought Reynolds was “kind of an insecure dude” and said “I would not have done Deadpool 3 if they came to me and were like, ‘We want you to do Deadpool 3, and we’re going to pay you twice as much.’”He continued: “I think he should make a Deadpool 3 and continue to make movies.

Starring John Krasinski as Jack Ryan, the eight-episode season follows Ryan on the run after being implicated in a larger conspiracy. While trying to stay alive as the CIA and an international rogue faction hunt him down, Ryan must also prevent a massive global conflict. Wendell Pierce and Michael Kelly return for the third season, with new series regulars Nina Hoss and Betty Gabriel joining the cast. “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan” is co-produced by Amazon Studios, Paramount Television Studios and Skydance Television. The series is executive produced by Andrew Form, Allyson Seeger, Krasinski, Vaun Wilmott, Brad Fuller and Michael Bay. Tom Clancy and Skydance Television’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Bill Bost serve as executive producers on the third season, along with Mace Neufeld and Carlton Cuse.

Prime Video is sharing a holiday season treat with “Jack Ryan” fans. The show’s third season will premiere Wednesday, Dec.

Prime Video has set a December premiere date for Season 3 of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan. All eight episodes of the series, starring and executive produced by John Krasinski, will launch on Wednesday, December 21, exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

The A Quiet Place spinoff being directed by Michael Sarnoski now has a title and firm release date. Paramount Pictures has set A Quiet Place: Day One to hit theaters March 8, 2024.

first reported out of CinemaCon, will now open in theaters on March 8, 2024 after originally being scheduled to bow on September 22, 2023. Paramount also unveiled that Krasinski’s next film as a director, which stars himself and Ryan Reynolds, is now titled “IF” and will open in theaters May 24, 2024. That movie is also bumping back after it was originally scheduled for November 17, 2023.
