Writer Kelly Marcel is set to direct the third installment in the “Venom” franchise, according to an individual with knowledge of the project.Marcel wrote and produced the first two “Venom” movies. The project is still in early development, with Tom Hardy returning as the lethal protector Venom, one of Marvel’s greatest and most complex characters.

Katcy Stephan Sony’s “Kraven the Hunter” is being pushed back from its August release, moving to Dec. 13, 2024. It will screen in IMAX and premium large formats.

Katcy Stephan The third installment of the “Venom” franchise finally has a title, “Venom: The Last Dance.” Sony has also moved up the film’s release date to Oct. 25, 2024, from the previously-announced Nov. 8 date.

Sony just titled the third Venom. It will be tited Venom: The Last Dance and it’s now opening on Oct. 25 this year, not Nov. 8.

Michaela Zee Tom Hardy‘s Eddie Brock/Venom is no longer crashing the summer movie season, as Sony Pictures has pushed back the third “Venom” movie to Nov. 8, 2024. The announcement came the same day that SAG-AFTRA approved a tentative deal to end the 118-day actors strike.

November 8, 2024 belongs to Venom 3. Sony always had the date on hold for a Marvel movie. It was for this film. The movie previously had a July 14, 2024 date set. That wasn’t in the cards as this actors strike hit 118 days with studios and SAG-AFTRA reaching a new three-year deal tonight.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson is hunting big game in the first trailer for Sony’s “Kraven the Hunter.”The new film teases a villain origin story for Marvel character. In comic book storylines, Kraven is a killer predator that sets his sights on Spider-Man. Directed by Michael Doneger and written by Dan Crane, the expansive sports story was produced by Matt Tolmach (of the “Jumanji” and “Venom” franchises) and Doneger.“Fate” follows trailblazing athlete Paul Rabil, who spent eleven years as one of the most dominant and controversial players in a professional lacrosse league that filmmakers described as “anything but professional.”  Rabil and his brother Mike took matters into their own hands, and document their journey raising capital, attempting to poach top players, fight off lawsuits, and persevere through a global pandemic to launch the Premier Lacrosse League.

Until Rabil and his brother Mike decided to break ranks and potentially sacrifice Paul’s decorated career to launch a league of their own (the Premier Lacrosse League).

Sam Raimi stepped into the offices of Sony Pictures in an impeccable black suit to pitch himself to direct “Spider-Man.” He had no reason to expect he would get the job.“My agent, Josh Donen, said, ‘They want to be honest with you. It is unknown at this time who Miller will be playing.
