EXCLUSIVE: Film Movement has taken North American rights to the drama, How I Learned to Fly, starring Marcus Scribner (Andre Johnson Jr. on ABC-TV’s Black-ish), Lonnie Chavis (This is Us, Lawman:Bass Reeves) with appearances by Method Man and Cedric the Entertainer. The movie will be getting a limited theatrical release in December, followed by a release on all leading home entertainment and digital platforms.

The news was announced on Saturday at ATX TV Festival in Austin, TX. Kelly Rowland will portray Edie, a tenured professor who serves as the head of the psychology department at Cal U. Latto will portray Sloane, a wine rep who counts Doug as a client. Omarion will portray himself. NLE Choppa will portray himself. Jazz Tangcay Artisans Editor Neon’s “How to Blow Up a Pipeline” is perhaps best described as part heist thriller, part climate change documentary. Helmed by Daniel Goldhaber, the film, in theaters April 6, follows a fictional crew of young environmental activists who execute a daring mission to sabotage an oil pipeline. Cast members include Ariela Barer, who also produced and co-wrote the film; “Euphoria’s” Lukas Gage, Kristine Froseth, Forrest Goodluck, Sasha Lane, Jayme Lawson, Marcus Scribner and Jake Weary. As soon as composer Gavin Brivik began working on the film, he flew out to the set and recorded music samples that included banging on oil drums in the desert.

Joe Otterson TV Reporter “Grown-ish” will end with its upcoming Season 6 at Freeform. The news comes around two months after it was announced the show had been renewed for a sixth season. The final season of the series, which is a spinoff of the ABC comedy “Black-ish,” will air in two parts. The first part will premiere this summer, while the second will air in 2024. The show will air its 100th episode during Season 6. “We’ve spent nearly a decade telling our stories through the -ish series and to say it has been an amazing journey would be an understatement,” said series creator and executive producer Kenya Barris. “To be able to watch Yara, Marcus and our entire ‘grown-ish’ family grow up in front of (and in many ways alongside) us over these past several years has been both a joy and an honor. From the stories we’ve told to the talent we’ve fostered and, most importantly, the memories made, I could not be more proud of everything we’ve accomplished and the -ish family I’ve been a part of.”

The 39th Annual PaleyFest LA is a bittersweet one for the cast of ABC's  Although the annual television festival is markedly special this year because it's the first time it's back in person in three years, it's also the final one that the crew will attend together as a cast.When ET spoke with the stars attending the panel on the red carpet on Monday, the crew reflected on seeing their final season air live and how it feels to say goodbye as their eight-year run ends.
