Helen George has promised Call The Midwife fans "a quick weep" in the show's emotional Christmas Day special this year. Cosy drama Call The Midwife traditionally airs a festive special on Christmas Day on BBC One, and Helen confirmed it would be back in its usual schedule slot when she stopped in to Friday's Lorraine show.The actress, who plays Trixie Franklin in the period drama about midwives and nuns in London's East End, told show host Ranvir Singh that fans could expect the episode to pull on the heart strings again this Christmas.

Strictly Come Dancing's Bobby Brazier was in high spirits despite a gruelling nine-hour rehearsal as he jumped for joy and kissed pro partner Dianne Buswell. The EastEnders star, 20, reportedly shouted, “We are the winners of this year's Strictly Come Dancing 2023” as he pumped his fists in the air following the practice session ahead of next Saturday’s live show.
