The list of nominees for the 2020 Mercury Prize has been revealed with Charli XCX, Stormzy, Dua Lipa, and Laura Marling all featuring on this year's list. The annual prize rewards one outstanding British album.

Laura Marling has announced she has moved up the release date of her new album, Song for Our Daughter. Originally slated for a summer release, the record will now arrive April 10 via Partisan/Chrysalis. “In light of the change to all our circumstances, I saw no reason to hold back on something that, at the very least, might entertain, and at its best, provide some sense of union,” she wrote in a statement. Marling has also shared a new song, “Held Down.” Find that below.
