EXCLUSIVE: Venerable sitcom director James Burrows has been tapped to direct and executive produce the pilot episode of ABC’s straight-to-series multi-camera comedy starring Alec Baldwin, Kelsey Grammer and Alec Mapa, from Modern Family co-creator/executive producer Chris Lloyd, executive producer Vali Chandrasekaran and studio 20th Television.

Actor-comedian Alec Mapa (Doom Patrol, Ugly Betty) has been cast as the the co-lead opposite Alec Baldwin and Kelsey Grammer in ABC’s straight-to-series multi-camera comedy from Modern Family co-creator/executive producer Chris Lloyd, executive producer Vali Chandrasekaran and studio 20th Television, where Lloyd and Chandrasekaran are under deals.

Kelsey Grammer will officially reprise his beloved character for a revival of which will debut exclusively on Paramount+, the streaming service announced Wednesday.Grammer will executive producer alongside Chris Harris (), Joe Cristalli (), Tom Russo and Jordan McMahon. At the moment, Grammer is the only original cast member attached to the revival.

Kelsey Grammer will be reprising his role as Frasier Crane in a reboot of Frasier for the upcoming streaming service Paramount+.
