But that’s an honest, accurate and, yes, appreciative label for “We Feed People,” Ron Howard’s technically polished and emotionally stirring close-up view of celebrity chef José Andrés and his nonprofit World Central Kitchen.The movie effectively begins in media res, with the robustly gregarious Andrés and his dedicated crew  years into their vocation, providing hot meals to isolated residents of Wilmington, N.C., in the wake of 2018’s Hurricane Florence — and coming perilously close to tasting their own disaster when floodwaters almost topple their delivery truck — before backing up to explain just who Andrés is and what started him on his mission.A native of Spain, Andrés moved to the U.S.

José, 52, revealed on Twitter February 25 that his nonprofit organization World Central Kitchen is stationed at the Ukrainian-Poland border helping feed refugees. “People of the World…Like you, I am distraught watching Ukraine under attack. We must come together as a force for good!” the celebrity chef said. “@WCKitchen is on Poland border delivering meals tonight—Romania soon.” José also revealed that he’ll further support Ukraine with the Jeff Bezos’ Courage and Civility Award, which is worth $100 million that he received last year.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Archewell foundation has a new partner: World Central Kitchen, the non-profit founded by celebrity chef José Andrés that helps feed communities around the world, particularly in the wake of natural disasters. As Bloomberg reports, Meghan and Harry are funding four "Community Relief Centers" for the non-profit, which will begin as service kitchens in emergency situations before potentially transitioning into schools, clinics, and community centers.

Archewell has a new partnership. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's foundation is partnering with Chef José Andrés's World Central Kitchen, the non-profit announced on Sunday. World Central Kitchen helps to feed communities negatively impacted by natural disasters, and in this new partnership, Archewell will build four Community Relief Centers.
