It's Lisa Vanderpump's show and don't you forget it. On tonight's Vanderpump Rules season eight finale, the British restaurateur made this very point as she masterfully shut down longtime employee Jax Taylor while his infamous ego, once again, reared its ugly head.

Vanderpump Rules fans have been following Jax Taylor’s ups and downs for eight seasons, but no one knows him better than wife Brittany Cartwright.

Even though we are currently into Season 8, most of the Vanderpump Rules cast has been there since the show premiered in 2013, and that means they've seen it all over the seasons. So when Bravo posted on Instagram that a Vanderpump Rules Season 2 marathon was happening all day today (Tuesday, March 24), with the caption, "[Vanderpump Rules] Season 2 in one word? EPIC," some of the OG SURvers had their answers at the ready.

According to Stassi Schroeder, 31, her ex-boyfriend Jax Taylor, 40, owes her for his reality career! “He was not even supposed to be on Vanderpump Rules,” Stassi spilled to co-star Lala Kent and her fiancee Randall Emmett on the debut episode for their podcast, Give Them Lala…with Randall.

And, it didn’t take the veteran bartender long to air out his frustrations concerning some of his new costars.
