EXCLUSIVE: Chris Coy (Lawmen: Bass Reeves) has been tapped for a series regular role on Netflix‘s drama Black Rabbit, as well as a supporting role in David Robert Mitchell’s Warner Bros film Flowervale Street.

Warner Bros. Pictures and Bad Robot on Friday revealed Flowervale Street to be the title of David Robert Mitchell‘s new film, starring Anne Hathaway, Ewan McGregor, Maisy Stella, and Christian Convery, announcing that it will open in IMAX on May 16, 2025.

Neon is launching sales this week at AFM to the It Follows sequel, They Follow. Filmmaker David Robert Mitchell is back to helm and write, with Maika Monroe reprising her role as Jay Height.

The show was originally ordered at Peacock in August 2022. Per the official series description, “When a beloved varsity quarterback disappears during the ‘Satanic Panic’ of the late 1980s, a struggling high school heavy metal band of outcasts realize they can capitalize on the town’s sudden interest in the occult by building a reputation as a Satanic metal band, until a bizarre series of murders, kidnappings, and reported ‘supernatural activity’ triggers a leather-studded witch hunt that leads directly back to them.”

As a group, they realize they can capitalize on the town’s sudden interest in the occult by building a reputation as a Satanic metal band, until a bizarre series of murders, kidnappings, and reported “supernatural activity” triggers a leather-studded witch hunt that leads directly back to them. Bowen will play Linda Campbell, the mother of one of the teenage outcasts. Linda experiences a series of supernatural disturbances that force her to question everything she knows about her son, as well as the growing threat of Satanism in their small Midwestern town.

The roles that Cox, Kudrow, Falco and Norris will be playing have yet to be announced.“The Parenting” is directed by Craig Johnson (“Alex Strangelove,” “The Skeleton Twins”), and written by Kent Sublette.

New Line has cast the ensemble comedy The Parenting for HBO Max with a murderers’ row of TV stars including Succession‘s Brian Cox, The Sopranos’ Edie Falco, Friends star Lisa Kudrow and Breaking Bad‘s Dean Norris.

“Shazam!” director David F. Sandberg is attached to direct the horror movie “The Culling,” which Lionsgate just acquired the spec script for, an individual with knowledge of the project told TheWrap.Sandberg & Lotta Losten will produce through their newly formed Mångata production banner, alongside Chris Bender and Jake Weiner for Good Fear Content.
