Grant claims that he was targeted by journalists and private investigators for The Sun in 2011, something which NGN denies, PA reports. In April, NGN sought to have Grant’s and and a similar claim by Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, dismissed at a hearing in London, on the grounds that both had left it too late to file their claims, PA said. On Friday, a U.K. High Court found that Grant’s claim could proceed to trial, except for any allegations relating to phone hacking.

The origins story stars Timothée Chalamet as the titular candymeister, who lands in a mid-European city (the pic was shot in London) after traveling the world perfecting his craft. “I’m something of a magician, inventor and chocolate maker,” he says.

Prince Harry’s lawyers have accused Prince William of receiving a “very large sum of money” to settle a phone-hacking claim against News Group Newspapers (NGN).

The Prince of Wales has reportedly reached a settlement with publisher News Group Newspapers over claims of hacking, the High Court has been told. News of the settlement was revealed in court documents on Tuesday as a three-day hearing in London involving William’s brother, the Duke of Sussex, and actor Hugh Grant got under way.

William Earl Kate Winslet is returning to HBO, but she’s a long way from Easttown. The Oscar-winning actor is leading the upcoming HBO limited series “The Regime,” which was teased during the April 12 Warner Bros. Discovery streaming press event. The lush teaser is filled with mystery and political intrigue, and the official logline doesn’t give too many clues, simply saying that the series “tells the story of one year within the walls of the palace of a modern European regime as it begins to unravel.” The cast includes Matthias Schoenaerts, Guillaume Gallienne, Andrea Riseborough, Martha Plimpton, Hugh Grant, Danny Webb, David Bamber, Henry Goodman, Stanley Townsend, Louie Mynett, Rory Keenan, Karl Markovics and Pippa Haywood.
